Deirdre Cartwright is a multi award-winning guitarist and composer who became
well known presenting the BBC TV’s ground-breaking series ‘Rockschool’. She
also played with Afro Latin Jazz group The Guest Stars, recording three albums
and touring in 17 countries. She currently play with ARQ, SeaChange and leads PICNIC.
Her new album with ORGANIK is released 10 July 2026.
Steven Kirby has built a reputation for performing exciting, melodic, lyrical and expressive jazz as well as being active as a performer in other contemporary styles. He has appeared on over 20 released recordings including three as a leader “Point Of Balance” and “North Light” (both on Challenge Records)—and “Illuminations” (on WCS records). “Illuminations” received Downbeat Magazine’s “Editors Pick” award. He has performed and/or recorded with many of today’ most respected contemporary musicians including Chris Potter, Mike Manieri (Steps Ahead), Joe Lovano, Steve Hunt, Allan Holdsworth, Matt Malley (of Counting Crows) and others. He has toured in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, Europe, China and Africa.
